Sew Caroline - Out and About Dress

I finally got around to making the Out and About dress designed by Sew Caroline. This was such a quick and easy dress to make, it was completed in about 5 hours from start to finish including taping the pattern. Some of the pattern pieces did not match up correctly the first time around so i had to reprint the bodice parts (front and) and even then when the dress was completed i couldn't match the front and back pieces at the waist. I need to make another dress to see what i did wrong.

I made the XS small size, it fits good on the shoulders but my arms are so skinny i had to take it in an extra half an inch to make it fit the way i would like it.

The pattern recommends tacking down the cuffs to keep them in place but i was being lazy so i used some of the EZ-Steam 2 (double sided fusible tape) on the inside of the fold, It works great.

The fabric i used is Lizzy House Mini Pearl Bracelet by Andover Fabrics. Love the color.
